Liga MX transfers: Tigres UANL adds its third reinforcement | Stove Soccer | Guard1anes 2021

After being champion of the Concacaf Champions League and qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup, Tigres UANL continues to move in the Liga MX transfer market ahead of Guard1anes Clausura 2021.

Once Guard1anes 2020 was finished, the arrival of Carlos González was confirmed, a brand new reinforcement for the forward from Pumas UNAM. Before the final of the Liguilla between Universitarios and Panzas Verdes, Cocoliso had already closed its transfer to Nuevo León, but it only joined after Felina’s consecration in the Orlando bubble.

The Paraguayan was joined by left-back Aldo Cruz, who was transferred from Club Tijuana to reinforce the defensive back of those led by Ferretti. And it would not take long for the third signing to arrive.

And in the last hours, The Monterrey team closed the hiring of Juan Pablo Chávez, a 24-year-old Mexican goalkeeper who played in the last year for the Industriales de Naucalpan of the Mexican Football League, and will arrive to compete for the position of substitute goalkeeper of the team.

In fact, The goalkeeper already reported this Friday, January 1, in the training carried out in the Volcano under the orders of Tuca. This is how the official channels of the club reported.

Juan Pablo Chávez was part of the lower teams of Monarcas Morelia and Cruz Azul Hidalgo, and his arrival in the northern team was due to the fact that Abdón Calderón, current goalkeeping coach, contacted him to arrive in Nuevo León.

The goalkeeper will have strong competition since the squad currently has Nahuél Guzmán, Gustavo Galindo and Miguel Ortega, the latter having recently had shoulder surgery.

Tigres UANL will debut in the 2021 Guard1anes Clausura Tournament against León de Guanajuato on January 9 at 7:00 p.m. Central Mexico at the Nuevo León University Stadium.
