Lautaro Martinez packed a hat-trick when Inter Milan beat Crotone. Lautaro dedicates this achievement to his pregnant girlfriend.
Inter started the Italian League match in early 2021 by beating Crotone 6-2 on Sunday (3/01/2021) evening WIB. The two teams drew 2-2 in the first half.
The Nerazzurri fell behind first through a goal by Niccolo Zanellato before being countered by Lautaro Martinez. Inter then turned 2-1 ahead through Luca Marrone’s suicide, which was then matched by Crotone with a Vladimir Golemic penalty.
Inter went on a rampage in the second half by scoring four goals. Lautaro Martinez added two more goals, then followed by goals each through Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi.
This will be Lautaro Martinez’s first hat-trick in an Inter shirt. He previously scored three goals in one match while playing for Racing Club.
Lautaro Martinez dedicates his goals to loved ones, such as his family and pregnant girlfriend.
“I miss this feeling, it’s nice to score goals, but also important to work for the team. I dedicate this goal to my family, my girlfriend Augustina and our daughter who will be born soon,” Lautaro told Sky Sport.
“I’m happy when Inter win, but I’m even happier when we win thanks to my goal,” the 23-year-old striker continued.
Inter currently still sits in second place in the Italian League standings with 36 points from 15 matches. La Benemata is one point behind AC Milan who managed to beat Benevento.
“The Serie A title is one of our targets, we are working to stay there,” the man from Argentina confirmed.
Inter haven’t tasted the Scudetto in a very long time. The last time Inter felt it was in the 2009/2010 season.
