L1: Lorient 3-2 Dijon (finished)

At the end of the suspense! Lorient snatched a precious success in the last minutes against Dijon (3-2), this Wednesday, in a late match of the 20th day of Ligue 1.

Led at the break, Lorient had yet taken the advantage on a lucky goal from Chalobah, whose shot deflected by Baldé deceived Dijon goalkeeper Racioppi (1-0, 31st). But the Dijonnais were able to react quickly to overthrow the locals in just two minutes! It was first Ecuele Manga who took advantage of a service from Boey to conclude from within the right (1-1, 39th). Then Baldé cut a cross from Sammaritano to place the DFCO in front in this part (1-2, 41st).

These two goals before half-time could have knocked out the Merlus, but Christophe Pélissier’s team showed character when they returned from the locker room to equalize just before the hour mark. Moffi cut a cross from Delaplace and restarted the premises (2 -2, 58e). While Moffi was logically refused a double for an offside, Lorient finally snatched the victory at the very end of the match on a free kick from Gravillon poorly controlled by Racioppi (3-2, 90th + 6)! This success allows the Breton club to climb back to 19th place, tied on points with its evening opponent, 18th.
