Recently transferred from the Cavaliers to the Houston Rockets, fullback Kevin Porter Jr. will have to wait before making his debut there. While a few days ago Stephen Silas explained that the Rockets were still thinking about the plan concerning the sophomore, he will obviously play the G-League bubble with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, affiliated team of the Rockets.
He has been training individually recently with the Rockets, but has not done collective training since March and the bubble will allow him to get back into the rhythm and have some playing time.
30th pick in the 2019 draft when he left USC, he shot 10 points (44.2%, 33.5% at 3-points), 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in 23.2 minutes and 50 games played with the Cavaliers last season .
Note that the rookies Brodric Thomas and Kevin Martin Jr. will also be in Orlando.
