For Federico Marchetti, the reserve goalkeeper of Italian first division Genoa, 2021 has not started very well. The 37-year-old Italian keeper saw his Ferrari 812 Superfast (price: 335,000 euros) reduced to scrap.
Federico Marchetti left his bright red Ferrari at the car wash on Monday to make it shine. The staff were allowed to deliver the sports car again later in the day to Genoa training center, but the Ferrari would never arrive there again. The employee returning the car lost control of the wheel, crashed into the guardrail and rammed into five parked cars across the street. The Ferrari 812 Superfast was reduced to a Ferrari 812 super broken.
