Inter Milan, with Lukaku for 30 minutes, stopped by Sampdoria after his great series

Romelu’s Inter Milan Lukaku lost 2-1 on the Sampdoria lawn on Wednesday afternoon on Matchday 16 of Serie A. Hit in the thigh on Sunday against Crotone, Lukaku was preserved by Antonio Conte and started the meeting on the bench. The Red Devil entered the game in the 63rd minute to replace Roberto Gagliardini.

The “Samp” led 2-0 when Lukaku walked on the lawn, after goals from Antonio Candreva (23rd) and Balde Keita (38th), two former Interiorists. Stefan De Vrij reduced the score in the 65th minute. The score then did not budge, Inter conceding their second defeat in the league after the setback against AC Milan in October during the fourth day. In the standings, Inter are 2nd with 36 units, 1 point behind their neighbor AC Milan, which receives Juventus on Wednesday night. Parma, with Maxime Busi lined up the entire match, was beaten 3-0 at Atalanta Bergamo, which takes 6th place in the standings. Parma remains in troubled waters, with 12 points in 16 games, 1 more than the red zone.
