People who have had the honor and privilege of visiting the estate of Kevin Costner in Aspen, Colorado, they claim there are touches of the big star everywhere. The carpets of skin of animals and fur blankets do, for example, a lot Dance with wolves. Once through the gates of the villa, a private driveway extends into a seemingly boundless valley and the landlord owns everything. A perfectly golden birch forest contrasts a cluster of bold green pine trees on the riverside Roaring Fork, which flows along the valley.
Kevin Costner: the field of dreams!
The three accommodations house up to 34 people, according to Kevin Costner’s agent. The main one, spread over several levels, reserves a luxurious reception, hall-style Four Seansos, complete with a wood burning fireplace two-sided. In the master bedroom, a gigantic cougar it is mounted above the bed, at the foot of which is a trap door, which opens onto a wooden staircase, leading to a sumptuous whirlpool tub, overlooking the river and mountains.
Pressing a button activates a waterfall from the stone at the top. Why bother building a trap door? Kevin Costner – close sources report – has a propensity to dramatic and, in addition, it creates a private access to the Jacuzzi.
The gardens are even more amazing. There are hills for sledding and two ponds stocked with huge trout. Then there are two houses: one on the lake, the other on the river. But the best part is probably the baseball field. Tribute to the film The Man of Dreams, Kevin Costner has starred in four baseball themed films, so he was quite inspired to protect his dream pitch!
The imposing speakers indicate that you can listen to music from each base, one automated machine spits the ball for the batter and the lighting allows you to play day and night. Costner rents the property with a minimum stay of one week, at a price not really accessible to anyone: 250 thousand dollars.
