The news of eating Konate joining Terengganu FC has been widely heard since leaving Persebaya Surabaya.
After being officially introduced by Terengganu FC, Makan Konate delivered a farewell sentence to Persebaya Surabaya.
The 29-year-old player expressed his gratitude to the management and supporters of Persebaya Surabaya.

Makan Konate started to be part of the Persebaya Surabaya squad since January 2020.
“Assalamualaikum, thank you very much for the Persebaya Surabaya team, Mr. Azrul (club president), managers, secretaries, coaches and officials, supporters of bonek and bonita,” said Konate on his personal Instagram, Wednesday (27/1/2021).
While strengthening Persebaya Surabaya, the player from Mali has presented a champion title at the 2020 East Java Governor’s Cup.
