Harden-Trade could have saved Caris LeVert’s life

Caris LeVert was in a good position with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Guard played with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on a title contender. Despite being transferred to the bank, he played a major role and was the third best thrower in the Nets with an average of 18.5 points.

But because a team, in this case the Houston Rockets, does not give up James Harden without equivalent value, Brooklyn parted with his talent, which was sent directly to Indiana by the Rockets in the four-team deal.

The Pacers are a powerful group, currently even just ahead of Brooklyn in the table, but have been more of a gray mouse in recent years – and still are compared to the new New York super team.

And yet Caris LeVert is very happy about the trade. Because he may have saved the NBA star’s life.

Doctors find “small amounts” at LeVert

Doctors discover something during a usual routine examination of LeVert’s fitness level. And that wasn’t a harmless injury.

No, the medics were loud ESPN a small mass on the kidney, BBC even writes about a tumor. Further tests should therefore show whether it is cancer.

“This trade may have saved me in the long run,” said a “humble” LeVert in his first media round as Pacer.

He had “no symptoms” and had no kidney problems. “I haven’t missed a game so far this season. I felt 100 percent healthy,” said LeVert, who draws a lot of strength from his faith.

The trade “showed what was going on in my body”.

LeVert lost father early

LeVert knows a lot about suffering. His father died at 46 when the son was 15 years old. His mother lives with multiple sclerosis but, according to LeVert, doesn’t show the disease. Because of these experiences, the 20th pick of the 2016 NBA draft tries to “get the positive out of every situation”.

The 26-year-old describes himself as a “competitor” and wants to get back on the floor as quickly as possible.

But first of all it is “the most important thing to get healthy and to make sure that I can live a long life”.

Trades usually take months, sometimes years, to really analyze. But there is already one winner: Caris LeVert and his health.
