Freimanim “double-double” in the won Polish championship game

Warsaw, Jan. 1, LETA. Latvian basketball player Rolands Freimanis scored 21 points on Friday and stood out with a “double-double”, but Jānis Bērziņš added five points, their Zelona Gura “Stelmet Enea” team celebrating the victory in the Polish championship game.

In the first game of 2021, the Latvian-represented team won the Warsaw “Legia” in the second extension with the result 85:78 (20:17, 16:12, 18:12, 5:18, 11:11, 15: 8).

Freimanis played for 37 minutes and 47 seconds, during which five of the 11 two-point shots, three of the ten long shots and both two “penalties” were broadcast in the basket. He also won 11 rebounds, scored once, blocked two shots, broke twice, provoked two remarks and scored 22 efficiency points, the second best in the team.

Meanwhile, Bērziņš spent 28 minutes and 17 seconds on the court, during which he realized one of the three two-point shots and one of the six “threes”. He also won ten rebounds, gave three assists, intercepted two balls, scored three points and scored 13 efficiency points, which was the fourth best result in the winning ranks.

Gabriel Lundberg stood out with 25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

Zelona Gura’s team with 16 victories in 18 games takes the first place in the tournament table, Mārtiņš Laksas’ Lublin “Start” with 13 successes in 18 fights is third, but Radoma “HydroTruck” club with five wins in 19 fights is the penultimate among 16 units.
