Tombesi from Terni in the federal council, Pernazza from Perugia is the representative of the athletes
Great joy in the house Archers City of Terni for the re-election in the Federal Council of Fitarco of the vice president Stefano Tombesi.
Mario Scarzella he was re-elected to the presidency of Fitarco by the Elective Ordinary National Assembly which took place on Sunday in Rome with 63% of the votes.
Stefano Tombesi is the only one of the group who shared a common program that supported Paolo Poddighe as president to have been confirmed as a member of the Federal Council.
“My re-election makes me very proud especially because this time I was part of the group that promoted change. It is confirmation that the world of national archery has appreciated the work I have done in recent years in the commissions in which I have participated. Today I am more determined than ever to carry on the values and program that I espoused at the beginning of the election. I will certainly be the critical voice within Fitarco from today until the end of my mandate, committing myself to promoting that transparency that was an unavoidable point of our electoral program and that the Federation must fulfill: it owes it to itself but above all it owes it to the whole movement Italian”.
For Tombesi, this is the last term unless “I decide to run for the presidency in four years. But I can also stop here. My experience within the Federation has always been animated by the love for this sport. Archery is my passion, not my job which I have often sacrificed for the good of Fitarco. I did it with pleasure and I will continue to do so in these four years because I believe that our world needs an epochal turning point to which I would like to contribute ”.
Stefano Tombesi is not the only Umbrian in President Scarzella’s new government team. With him too Cristina Pernazza of Augusta Perusia elected as Representative Athletes.
