The Formula 1 winter test moved from Barcelona to Bahrain when it became clear that the opening race in Melbourne, Australia, could not take place. This allowed them to stay in Bahrain while waiting for the opening race in the oil state. The test runs from 12 to 14 March, but the new Ferrari can be admired the day before.
The Scuderia is stretching the test a bit by scheduling a filming day on March 11, reports the Italian branch of Motorsport.com. This means that one can cover a maximum of 100 kilometers with special demo tires from Pirelli. It is an ideal setting for a shakedown of a new car, which in Ferrari’s case is called the SF21.
