Bayern Munich is slowly losing connection to the top of the table after a defeat in the top game of the easycredit Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). At champions ALBA Berlin, Munich clearly lost on Sunday with 72:85 (36:39).
With a record of seven wins and now two defeats, Bayern had to let the defending champion (7: 1) overtake them and slipped to fifth – Munich conceded its two defeats in the past two weeks.
“That was one of the worst games that a team has ever shown in my career! It’s disappointing and embarrassing, unlike Berlin, we didn’t understand which game it was: namely ALBA against Bayern,” scolded Bayern coach Andrea Trinchieri : “That was a shameful game of ours, we just weren’t there and couldn’t do anything.”
ALBA severely weakened
The best thrower for ALBA was Louis Olinde with 17 points, JaJuan Johnson (12) was the most successful for Bayern. Jayson Granger managed a double-double with 13 points and ten assists.

Crailsheim stays with Ludwigsburg
