De Miñaur, first champion of the year after Bublik’s retirement

Sports writing, Jan 13 (EFE) .- Australian Alex de Miñaur won the title in Antalya (Turkey), the first tournament of the year on the ATP circuit, benefiting from the withdrawal of Kazakh Alexander Bublik.

The match lasted two games. Bublik was close to retiring in the semifinal against France’s Jeremy Chardy, but was able to continue. On this occasion the Kazakh said enough when he lost 2-0 after seven minutes.

De Miñaur thus obtains the fourth title of his career after the three achieved in 2019 and in Sydney, Atlanta and Zhuhai.
