David reached for the medal in the massacre again, and was finally fifth

The vast majority of biathletes started the race, reserved for the thirty best overall classifications of the series, with pure shooting, but David was not one of them. She sent the first shot lying down outside the target while lying down, so she had to go to one penalty round and from there she returned to 23rd place with a half-minute loss to the forehead, where German Herrmann and Norka Röiselandová set the pace.

After the second stop at the shooting range, only nine women remained at zero, this time the Czech national team was flawless and jumped to the eighteenth place, while its loss did not increase. Davidová was one of the best in skiing, which allowed her to move forward. The thirteenth had arrived at the third rifle, and it was known that she had the energy to improve even more.

Only two Russians remained one hundred percent after this stand – Mironovová and Pavlovová, and with them the German tandem Preussová, Hinzová. Röiseland was still following them, and Hanna Öberg and Hauser were a short distance away. David has already reached the eighth position. The secret of the “massacre” has not yet been solved by the last shooting, after which no one remained at zero.

Mironova’s campaign was stopped by two penalty rounds. On the other hand, the Frenchman Simonová also widened the top, although she circled the race three times, but she had the best running time and surpassed even super-fast Norwegians on skis. Thanks to the fact that she also put this other handstand clean, David left the third shooting range, but she had Simon and Preuss on her back.

Five women could think of taking three places on the podium. Simon quickly crossed Hanna Öberg and Hauser, while she had 300 meters more in her legs than her rivals. At the end, the Davids ran out of strength, she didn’t even have such fast skis and lost contact with Preuss before the finish line. However, the fifth place is a repetition of the second best result of the season, it turned out better only during the pre-Christmas massage in Hochfilzen. There she finished fourth.

During the last season, she reached the podium three times, each time taking home bronze. In this year’s World Championships, however, Markéta Davidová’s place on the podium still escapes. Let him try as he tries. “It was pretty close by noon on Saturday. But in the end, I didn’t have as much strength as I could have imagined. The girls were faster at the end, which froze when I finally shot decently, “said David.
