The medals came in doubles modalities. Marina Rodríguez, from the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club, along with Sara Redondo from Valladolid, and who despite not usually playing together, climbed to the third drawer of the podium. In the semifinals they were beaten 21-15 and 21-13 by the future champions.

The high expectations placed on the participation of the young Sorians were only partially fulfilled. Daniela and Adrián, in mixed doubles, were one of the couples that opted to fight for the medals. Framed in group C, they played the pass to the box stage against a couple from Burgos. After a set won with great tactical rigor, unforced errors in the end of the other two sets brought the Sorians down from the knockout phase.

Daniela Corchón, in her participation in the individual modality, achieved an excellent fifth place. Passing the group stage comfortably and several phases of the elimination table, she was defeated in the quarterfinals against Rocio Martin from Malaga, who would be proclaimed champion of Spain.

With this championship, both players say goodbye to the U13 category in which they have achieved medals and triumphs at the territorial and national level.

Finally, the third appointment of the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club was the Iberdrola Cup in which the female teams from the honor and first division clubs participated.
