Ciak (calf) and Clark (foot) stopped a few days before the resumption in EuroLeague

Saturday evening, ASVEL Féminin ended its series of five victories in the Women’s Basketball League (LFB) by losing 86-70 on the floor of Lattes-Montpellier. It must be said that Valéry Demory had to do without two executive players: the winger Alysha Clark and the pivot Héléna Ciak. The first suffered from plantar fasciitis, the second from the calf.

Helena Ciak is expected to return to the squad this week, strengthening an indoor sector limited to two 4-3 positions (Alexander Crvendakic, Michelle Plouffe) and a 5-4 (Nayo Raincock). For Alysha Clark on the other hand, we will probably have to wait until next week and the health bubble in Prague to see it again at work. But again nothing is certain, the American-Israeli remains uncertain.

With 2 wins in 3 matches, ASVEL negotiated the first leg of the group stage of the EuroLeague well. In Prague, with three meetings in four days (against Gdynia on Tuesday 19, Prague on Thursday 21 and Fenerbahçe on Friday 22), they will want to do the same. With a larger group it would be easier.
