The bid was proposed at 22 million euros (Rp377 billion), slightly below Sassuolo’s request which reached 25 million euros (Rp429 billion).

This step was taken by Juventus considering the January transfer window will close on February 1, and management is determined to give Andrea Pirlo other options on the front lines.

Gianluca Scamacca was widely said to be the target of AC Milan in the transfer market this January. He is projected to be Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s coating and successor in the future considering that he is only 22 years old. However, in the end AC Milan chose to sign Mario Mandzukic.

Joining Sassuolo in January 2017 from PSV Eindhoven, Gianluca Scamacca has been out on loan more frequently. Before Genoa, he was loaned to Cremonese and Ascoli in Serie B and PEC Zwolle at the Dutch Eredivisie.

This season, he performed quite well with Genoa with a record of 6 goals in 16 appearances in all competitions. He is also a mainstay of the Italian U-21 national team with 7 goals from 12 matches.
