19-year-old Blanka Kata Vas has gained momentum. After her victory in Bredene last Wednesday, she was also the best in Gullegem on Saturday. The reason for her top form? A training camp that she organized at the beginning of December.
“I think I have taken a new step at training camp in Spain”, she tells her story in the flash interview. “After Tabor I left there.”
In the double weekend Antwerp-Gavere she made her comeback in the cross again, but only then came the results: fifth in Namur, fourth in Essen, ninth in Herentals, seventh in Dendermonde and thus the two victories this week.
About Saturday’s victory, she says: “I really wanted to win because the first game was of the new year. It was a technical course, but the mud wasn’t too difficult today. The mud was difficult in Dendermonde. ”
On Sunday Vas can also show it again in the World Cup: the Hungarian champion starts in Hulst in the Netherlands.
