Michy Batshuayi has not been able to crown his first starting place in two months with a goal. The Red Devil saw Eberechi Eze score the only goal of the game against Wolverhampton.

Michy Batshuayi appeared to be at a dead end at Crystal Palace, but a goal against West Ham put the Red Devil back on coach Roy Hodgson’s radar. For the first time in 2 months, the attacker was allowed to start in the base.

Crystal Palace could barely threaten before half-time. Batshuayi had one good chance, but was unable to score. Wolverhampton, with Leander Dendoncker in the base, showed even less if possible.

After the break, not Batshuayi, but Eberechi Eze with a nice shot for the winning goal. Crystal Palace thus moves up to the middle bracket. Christian Benteke stayed on the bench for the entire match: wait and see whether the Belgian attackers will move before the end of the winter mercato.
