HAPPY YEAR 2021! We return to the Basketball regulation pills after this Christmas break by analyzing article 15, “Basket: when it is marked and its value”.
“A basket is produced when a live ball enters the basket from the top and remains in it or passes through it completely. ” With this definition we solve two common myths: What if the ball is spit out by the net? What if the ball gets caught in the net? The first answer is that it is not a basket and the second is that it is a basket.
Tapping is one of the options to score a basket
The score in the different types of basket are:
1 point if it is a free throw
2 points if it is a shot inside the arc of 6.75 or on the line.
3 points if it is outside the arc of 6.75.
Furthermore, if after a last free throw in which the ball touches the ring, any player touches the ball and scores it… 2 points will be awarded.
If by chance a team accidentally scores in its own basket, the basket will be worth two points and will be awarded to the on-court captain of the opposing team. Whereas, if the basket is on purpose, it will be annulled and will be considered a violation.
If a player makes the entire ball go completely under the basket, it is a violation.
In the last moments of the quarter, to be able to execute a throw they will have to remain at least 3 tenths on the scoreboard. Below that figure, it can only be tapped as a shot attempt.
