The national team confirmed that the Thai Open has prepared strict quarantine guidelines and confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The national team players are scheduled to leave the country on the 2nd of next month after being tested for Corona 19, confirming the’voice’.

The organizers of the tournament are also planning to conduct Corona 19 tests several times for athletes participating in Thailand.

Most of the world’s top athletes, such as Gento Momota (Japan), who ranked first in the men’s singles world ranking, will participate in this event.

The 2021 national team has yet to be confirmed.

This is because the national selection, scheduled to be held in the middle of this month, was canceled due to the Corona 19 issue.

The Korean Badminton Association announced that it is pushing ahead with a plan to hold a selection game in Muju, Jeollabuk-do on January 18-23 next year.

Thailand Open scores are not reflected in points for the Tokyo Olympics.

Instead, if you achieve good results in this competition, you can increase your chances of participating in the 2020 BWF World Tour Final, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on the 27-31 of next month.
