At MU, Amad Diallo will be accompanied by Bailly ‘brother

Manchester

Amad Diallo doesn’t have to worry about his adaptation process at Manchester United. Because the Red Devils have a “brother” Eric Bailly who is ready to help Diallo.

Diallo was recruited from Atalanta last summer. However, administrative problems resulted in the agreement being completed this January after resolving several administrative problems.

Once officially, the Atalanta academy graduate was bound by MU with a contract until June 2024 with an option to extend for a year. No mention was made of the amount of the transfer, but some European media mentioned 21 million euros.

Joining a club as big as MU is certainly a challenge for Diallo. Moreover, Amad Diallo has only played in the Atalanta senior team this season and that was only three times with a score of one goal.

Plus Diallo has to compete with top names like Marcus Rashford, Mason Grenwood, Anthony Martial, and Daniel James in attack. The four names are often played as wing attackers in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s favorite 4-2-3-1 formation.

As one of the senior players at MU and also from Ivory Coast, Bailly is ready to help Diallo’s adaptation process. Bailly has even spoken to the Diallos in person.

“I know Amad. I’ve spoken to him,” Bailly said Mirror.

“He is a young player with great talent, but we know that young players like this have to slowly process it. I think he will perform well, but we have to be patient,” he continued.

“I’m ready to help him. I’m ready to help every player. For me, that’s very important.”

“When I came to this team, I had a lot of experienced players. I remember Rooney, Ibrahimovic, Valencia. Players like this help me when they come. So when a young player comes it is very important to help him.”

“He is an extraordinary teenager. I’ve spoken to him and his family. Everyone at Manchester United is looking forward to him,” concluded Eric Bailly questioning Amad Diallo.
