On Eivor’s second journey to the realms of Norse mythology in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, see Havi travel to Jotunheim in his effort to change his destiny in Ragnarok. After obtaining gifts for Jotnar’s chief Suttungr and his daughter, Gunlodr, Havi arrives to A party to remember.
Odin’s goal is to steal the magical mead from Suttungr, which will aid his intrigue. You will find Suttungr in the northwest corner of Jotunheim, where he is patrolling outside his longhouse near the top of the hill.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: a party to remember
Approach Suttungr and you will present the cauldron.
With your well-deserved welcome, set out to find Jotnar’s daughter, Gunlodr. She is locked in her laboratory under a stone circle in the city to the east.
Approach the circle through the two pillars with deer skulls tied to them to see the opening.

Talk to Gunlodr inside and invite her to the party after talking to her about her job. Enjoy the Easter egg at the end of the scene, then follow her back to the party and talk to Suttungr.
In his speech he has the opportunity to make a good impression on the assembled Jotnar and encourage them to drink more. When presented with dialogue options, they like the first option, then you tell them you respect them, and then you tell them to go straight for a drink.
Havi will then comment to himself that the giants are not drinking fast enough to open the Suttungr vault. Invite guests to drink more by talking to the different groups.
Gunlodr riddles
From Suttungr’s throne looking out, you can see Gunlodr standing only to the left.
Talk to her and you can lift her spirits with some puns.
The first answer to Gunoldr’s riddles is beer The answer to the second is hammer Then the answer to the third and final puzzle is a swan and eggs
Solving them all correctly lifts your spirits enough to have a drink, contributing to your goal of emptying the cauldron.
You can then fight their champion on the right side of the hall to get them to drink more. It’s a very easy fight so focus on counterattacks.
Then after that, you can talk to the musicians on the throne stage. They say that some children stole their instruments and that you can find them around the rim of the cauldron of mead.
They ask you to go up and dive into the bucket from above and to return the instruments when you do.
Finally, compete in the archery challenge on the other side of the room and that will be it. Again, the archery test is very simple.
Suttungr Vault
Talk to Suttungr and inform him that his people have dried up the Cauldron of Mead. He will order his vault to be opened, giving you a chance to sneak in and steal some magical mead for yourself.
Now look to the southwest and you will see the open door in the distance. Jump across the rooftops using the zip line at the edge of the party, then head inside.
Upon entering, Gunoldr will stop him. Now is the time to unfold the gift you brought him in the previous mission, the circle Thor used to sneak into Jotunheim.
With their reciprocated advances, some Avatar love emerges.
Make your escape
With Gunlodr asleep, walk forward from where you regain control, go up a short flight of stairs and you will find the mead.
Interact with the horn and you will have what you came for. Exit the vault and return to Utgar.
However, before you can slip away, you are again betrayed by Loki, who has frustrated you at every turn.
You will probably be over level in this fight with Suttungr, but there is still some method to beat him.
Suttungr’s most dangerous attack, when it rains ice from the sky, it cannot be blocked or dodged. To save yourself from damage, you must take refuge inside the red runes that you see on the ground in the corners of the combat arena.
When Suttungr breaks the ground in preparation, run to these places.
Other than that, shoot at his bright weak spots, dodge back and to the side when he rushes to grab you, and stay close to his feet and slash.
Then, in the second phase of the fight, when he grabs an ax, you must dodge the side roll to avoid the quick ice attacks that rush across the ground.
