For Ibra, with a 0-3 defeat from Atalanta, Milan should not be proud. Because, the defeat has made the Rossoneri’s good record tarnished.
Moreover, Milan played poorly in the duel against Atalanta and made Ibra without hesitation issue a scathing honest comment on Milan’s performance.
What Ibra highlighted the most was the performance of Milan midfielder Sualiho Meite. Milan coach Stefano Pioli surprisingly prefers Meite as trequartista to support Ibra, rather than playing Brahim Diaz.
The experiment was a complete failure. Because, Meite was unable to have a positive effect on Milan’s front lines.
“I felt isolated during the first half. When the ball can be controlled, I just need people who support for the combination. I feel alone. But, maybe also because of Atalanta’s pressing game,” said Ibra.
