Copenhagen’s Badminton Club was founded on 16 July 1934. In 2013, the club changed its name to Badminton Copenhagen.
Badminton Copenhagen is a member of Badminton Denmark, the Danish Sports Confederation (DIF), and the Badminton World Federation (BWF). Badminton Copenhagen works together with i.a. DGI and Badminton Zealand on the development and spread of the sport of badminton locally, regionally and nationally.
A total of 42 clubs and more than 10,000 active players are members of Badminton Copenhagen.

Badminton Copenhagen’s board consists of 9 members, who are elected at the district’s board meeting.
