Liverpool beat their direct rival Hotspur at home 2: 1 (1: 1), losing first place in the table.
The Liverpool team dominated the first half and had several chances to score. Mohamed Salah was in the lead in the 26th minute, but seven minutes later Honmins Sons reached 1: 1.
Liverpool’s victory came in the last minute of regular time, when Firmin was sent off by Andrew Roberston after a corner kick. The match could have ended 2: 1 in favor of “Hotspur”, because before that Steven Bergvienn smoothed the goal structure and Herry Keyn hit the crossbar with his head.

“I think we totally deserve a victory because we played a good game against the top team,” Liverpool co-driver Jürgen Clops said after the match. “Yeah, they had a goal and a couple more good chances, but we were in control of the game and really deserved three points.”
Hotspur head coach José Mourinju had the opposite opinion.
“We were close to winning, but we didn’t take our chances. A poor result would be a draw in terms of performance, so you can imagine what it feels like to lose. A very unfair result,” Mourinju concluded.
Before that, the Hotspur team was not used to overthrow Leicester’s City, which at home with Liverpool’s 0: 2 (0: 1) advantage over Liverpool’s Everton. Richard Charlison and Mason Holgeit scored for the Everton team.
