Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal … Football stadiums in London again prohibited to the public

From Wednesday, the English capital will again appear in the third level of risk due to an increase in the number of coronavirus infections. In ‘Tier 3’, sporting events and other ‘live’ events cannot be held in the presence of an audience.

Since December 2, Premier League matches in London could accommodate a maximum of 2,000 spectators. The number corresponded to level 2. At level 1, 4,000 spectators can attend matches of the highest professional level.

Due to the new measures, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Fulham will once again play their home fixtures behind closed doors. Liverpool, Everton, Southampton and Brighton are the only Premier League clubs able to play at home with a crowd.
