A few days before the start of the season, the Warriors had planned to strengthen their workforce. Unfortunately for them, and for some unusual reason, the deal fell through. Nevertheless, the California franchise is not abdicating.
This Tuesday night, the Warriors will open the ball against the Nets for this new NBA season. A reunion with Kevin Durant which may be tense, to the delight of the fans. While waiting for the meeting, the latest news is not necessarily glorious for Steve Kerr’s men.
Indeed, the coach has learned a very bad news concerning one of the executives of its workforce. This does not bode well for the start of the season. Another blow? The case of Jeremy Lin, who was to initial a contract with the California franchise.
But to do so, he had to receive a letter from FIBA before Saturday. It is missed. Lin will therefore not sign for Dubs, but we have to believe that this soap opera is not yet over according to journalist Marc Stein. The latter says it: Golden State still hopes to recruit Linsanity.

The Warriors remain interested in adding Jeremy Lin to the @GLeagueWarriors should Lin decide to use the G League as the platform for a potential NBA comeback, league sources say

The Warriors remain interested in signing Jeremy Lin to the G-League squad roster, at least if he decides to use that platform to attempt a return to the NBA.
After more than a year of absence, Lin has several options: stay in China, or try to come to the G-League to return to the NBA. A direct return seems unlikely, with franchises having little interest in him to date.
Despite their failure, the Warriors have not given up on the idea of signing Jeremy Lin. It’s a long fight that awaits the leader.
