The break has helped us to clarify how we want to play and make it clear that we have to be recognizable in our game. It should be noted that the junior player Jordi Muñoz has made his debut with the team, playing good minutes, ”explains his coach Rafa Sempere.

FOUR JUNIORS CALLED BY THE FIRST TEAMS

This week it should be noted that four Junior players have been called up by the first teams. Specifically in the Senior Women in which Natalia had already debuted and played many times, Celia, Lydia and Aroa were called up. These two were able to debut in the National category.

For his part, Jordi Muñoz played in the Autonomous Senior Men, also making his debut in this category.

“This is news that I like because it shows that we work well, from below, to train players who can reach the first team. This is the philosophy of our club ”, highlights the sports director, Lirios Rovira.

WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO TRAIN

At 2 pm they have communicated from the Sports Center that the municipal sports facilities were going to be closed, so it will not be possible to train or play the postponed games scheduled for these dates.

The reason is because of the high number of infections in the city.

The Club regrets this decision as all health protocols were being followed and there had been no contagion in their sport. Furthermore, congratulations had been received from the other municipalities that regretted these closures that criminalize sport and cause fear of its practice, causing people who cannot be practicing sport to have more social encounters in other places.

The Club hopes that this possible stoppage will not cause injuries on the return as has occurred in all towns where the practice of controlled sport has been prohibited and in compliance with the rules.

INJURIES

The Club regrets the result of the tests carried out on Oriol and Natalia, both have broken the cruciate ligament in the knee and will have to undergo surgery so it is practically certain that they will lose the remainder of the season.

BASE

Mutua Levante Nou Bàsquet Alcoi played a large number of matches, although not all teams, something that will be the usual trend this season due to postponed matches or teams that retire. The juniors, some cadets and children played, as well as the teams of the schools with an agreement with the Club that take part in the Jocs Esportius Municipals.
