Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers, start time, cricket news

Sunday’s Big Bash League game between the Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers at Blundstone Arena has been postponed to 7:15 p.m. local time.

The T20 game was originally scheduled to start at 11:10 AM AEDT so it wouldn’t clash with the fourth day of the Australia-India friendly at the Adelaide Oval.

But after Australia clinched an eight-wicket win on Saturday night after beating India in Adelaide by 36, day four of the Pink Ball Test is no longer required.

Therefore, the Big Bash duel on Sunday in Hobart will now take place in prime time at 7:15 p.m.

On Saturday the BBL confirmed that existing tickets are still valid, and anyone who can no longer attend can request a refund.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Cricket together with the streaming platform Kayo.

The Sixers and Strikers sit in third and fourth place on the BBL ladder, each with a win from two games.
