The challenge this Christmas, with three euros for the registration that will be donated to the Economic Kitchen, is intended for people over 16 years old and consists of swimming 250 meters in three municipal swimming pools. To achieve the objective, in which about 400 people are expected, it is necessary to complete one of the three proposed routes that involve the municipal swimming pools of Gijón, distributed in the neighborhoods of Pumarín, El Llano, La Camocha, Moreda and La Calzada . For the moment, “registrations are going at a slow pace, because now is not the time to sign up to do things, but the important thing is that all the proceeds will go to the Economic Kitchen”, explained Tuero about this appointment that only allows two users by street and requires an appointment to attend.

In yesterday’s presentation, to promote the initiative, one of the regular swimmers of the Crossing through the Gijonese bay, María Fernández Bagues, also participated. “This is a different way of collaborating, safer that is better in these times, and also supportive”, reflected the athlete.
