That can’t hurt in the current times: Schalke hired Huub Stevens as an interim trainer to “open the window and let in fresh air”, as Jochen Schneider put it on Saturday just before the kick-off against Arminia Bielefeld.
“It’s all about this one game,” emphasized the sports director at “Sky”, and of course the DFB Cup duel with Ulm on Tuesday. “We agreed on these two games and it will stay that way.” S04 coach of the century Stevens should “build up the boys in his own positive way, convey a bit of fun and ease.
