Ravens’ Dez Bryant scratched for the Cowboys game after a positive COVID-19 test and starts Twitter rant

Baltimore Raven’s broad receiver Dez Bryant was scratched from Tuesday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys after being pulled out of warm-ups and testing positive for COVID-19.

Less than an hour before their game against the Cowboys, Bryant left the field and the team announced that he had been removed from the game due to illness. Bryant immediately reached out to Twitter to express his frustrations.

“Tell me why they are peeling me off the warm up so I can get tested … my sh– come back positive … I tested positive for Covid,” wrote Bryant. “The crazy thing is, I have the same damn routine … it doesn’t make sense to me.”

Bryant followed shortly after with another tweet.

“Yeah, I’ll go ahead and call it over for the rest of the season … I can’t handle that,” he wrote.

“Since I tested positive for Covid before the game, will the game stop or will it continue? @NFL, “said Bryant before sending one final tweet, saying,” I’m about to have some wine and get ready … “

Bryant, who played for the Cowboys for eight years before being sacked in April 2018, joined the Ravens in October and was looking forward to facing his former team for the first time in his career. Unfortunately for Bryant, he couldn’t show the cowboys that they’d made a mistake getting rid of him.
