Quite a feat for Louis-Philippe Ladouceur

Quebecer Louis-Philippe Ladouceur tied an NFL record on Sunday by taking part in a 250th game on the Goodell circuit.

The representative of the Dallas Cowboys joined kicker Eddie Murray as the number one Canadian player who has played the most games on the American circuit.

In addition to reaching this prestigious mark, Ladouceur saw his team defeat the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 30-7.

The specialist in long discounts is practically part of the furniture in the Texan team. Having played his entire career in Dallas, the 39-year-old Montrealer is currently playing his 16th season in the NFL.

He also holds the Cowboys franchise records for the most seasons played and the most consecutive games. Even more impressive, Ladouceur has never missed a single surrender since the start of his long career.

It was thanks to legendary head coach Bill Parcells that the University of California product entered the NFL in 2005. He gave it a try in the fourth week of operations that season and was so impressed by the Quebecer that he immediately made room for him in his training.

Whoever was invited to the Pro Bowl in 2014 should logically set a new mark among Canadian NFL players next Sunday, when the Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers at AT&T Stadium.
