Premier League Results and Standings – Spurs vs Fulham Postponed due to COVID-19, Newcastle First Team Makes Liverpool Talk

Week 16 of the Premier League continues on Wednesday (12/30/2020) evening local time or Thursday morning WIB.

There are two matches that will actually be held, namely Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham and Newcastle United vs Liverpool.

But in the end, only one match was held tonight, namely Newcastle vs Liverpool.

The Tottenham vs Fulham match was officially postponed due to the discovery of a new COVID-19 case that hit the visiting team.

The Premier League canceled this match just 3 hours before the scheduled kick-off.

The BBC reported that a number of Fulham team members tested positive for COVID-19 in the results of their pre-match checks.

This prompted the West London club to ask for a postponement of the schedule which the Premier League ultimately granted.

On Tuesday (29/12/2020), competition authorities found 18 people with the corona virus in the last examination in three Premier League parties.
