Persija and JDT Advancing to Asia’s Most Popular Club Final, Persib Jeblok is questioned

SUPERBALL.ID – Persija Jakarta and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) advanced to the final of Asia’s Most Popular Football Club 2020.

This assurance was obtained after Persija and JDT became the two clubs that won the most votes in the poll (polling) Southeast Asia (ASEAN) level.

AFC through its website rolled out polling open to all football fans in ASEAN to choose Asia’s most popular club.

There were 10 clubs that were nominated, consisting of 4 Indonesian clubs, 2 Malaysian, 2 Vietnamese, 1 Thai and 1 Australian clubs.

Based on the results polling which closed December 25, 2020, Persija was in the top rank, followed by JDT.

Persija won 32.49 percent of the votes, while JDT was 28.84 percent.

Three other Indonesian clubs, namely Persib Bandung, Persebaya Surabaya, and Arema FC, were respectively ranked third, fifth, and sixth.

In the final, Persija and JDT will join Tractor SC and Persepolis FC.
