If all goes as planned, the next season in the National Hockey League (NHL) will begin on December 1.

According to the schedule set up by the league authorities, the training camps for the 2020-2021 season will open on November 17.
There would therefore be a two-month break between the Stanley Cup final and the resumption of games in the NHL.
According to the current schedule, the Stanley Cup final could start around September 20 and last until October 2.
The draft would take place on October 6.
