NFL stops Tom Brady from playing golf

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his head coach Bruce Arians wanted to play golf during the team’s week off, but the NFL ruled it was a related breach of protocol to COVID-19.

That’s what the ESPN network revealed on Sunday. The pair had planned to indulge their hobbies a few times between the 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 29 and Sunday’s scheduled duel against the Minnesota Vikings.

If they haven’t been able to get to the Florida tees, Brady and Arians appear to be on the same page, despite speculation to the contrary.

“They get along really well. There is a deep respect for each other, ”said managing director Jason Licht to ESPN.
