Quebec defensive back Benjamin St-Juste announced Sunday that he has declared himself eligible for the next NFL draft.
St-Juste spent the last two seasons with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers after leaving the University of Michigan Wolverines ahead of the 2019 season.
The Montreal native received an honorable mention from the Big 10 Conference for his performances in 2019.
“Thank you Minnesota! I will be forever grateful for the opportunity you have given me to represent the University of Minnesota, ”he wrote on Twitter on the sidelines of his announcement.
In five games this season, St-Juste had 14 tackles and knocked down three assists. In 10 games in 2019, he made 45 tackles and knocked down 10 assists.
