This family will spend Christmas at home thanks to the generosity of a basketball player. Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat player in the NBA, pledged to pay a year’s rent to a mother and her four children living in Miami and threatened with deportation before the holiday season.
This beautiful gesture was reported by the American magazine Complex and relayed in France by the Point. In addition to paying a year’s rent to this family, Bam Adebayo also committed to participate financially in the maintenance and work of the house. “Just helping someone like that, in this situation, with all the negative things that have happened to them in the last few months, it’s definitely top of my list“, the American basketball player told Complex.
The 23-year-old hub of the Miami Heat is not at his first act of generosity. He had recently offered a house to his mother or even created a foundation: the BBB, BAM, Books and Botherhood (Bam, books and fraternity).
