Hamburg (SID) – The North American professional basketball league NBA is sticking to the possibility of the challenge for the coaches. The league announced this. The rule tested last season says that every coach can have a decision made by the referee checked per game.
During the past season, the NBA head coaches made use of the new rule 633 times in the main round and 67 times in the play-offs. In 44 percent of the cases in the regular season, the original decision was overturned, in the play-offs the rate was 40 percent.
