Mick Schumacher was already successful as a young driver – now Formula 1 is waiting

Mick Schumacher won Formula 2. Although the son of Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher did not make it into the points in the last race of the season in Bahrain due to a tire damage, his ultimately remaining competitor Callum Ilott from Great Britain was only eleventh. Thus, the 21-year-old was able to end his era in Formula 2 as a champion. Because Mick will compete in Formula 1 next season as a Grand Prix driver for the US Haas racing team. He announced this a few days before his race in Bahrain: “I’m really looking forward to the challenge and work next year. I’ve always dreamed of that and now the dream is coming true. I’m really so happy and emotionally I’m exploding. Thanks for the many messages and the great support. ” Mick’s career has been very successful so far. In 2018 he won the Formula 3 championship, in 2020 Formula 2, and at some point perhaps – like his father – the highest automobile racing class in the world, Formula 1.
