Michael Gardyne opened up what was said during a flashpoint with Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos over the weekend.
The Ross County midfielder was involved in an incident with the Gers attacker before he spoke to defenseman Connor Goldson.
An SFA investigation as it has now been launched into an alleged “homophobic arc”, but the Staggies man strongly denies these allegations, according to Gardyne’s agent Tom Callaghan.

He told the Daily Record, “I’ve spoken to Michael for a long time and some of the allegations that have been made are absolutely ridiculous.
“The only term Michael used was f ****.

“He said so to Morelos after landing his bolts in his side after the first challenge.
“He repeated the sentence to Connor Goldson.
“There was absolutely nothing homophobic or racist.
“We will support and defend Michael to clear his name.”
