Eagle Pass, Tx.- The Eagle Pass CC Winn Mavericks suffered their seventh loss of the 2020 season in Texas student basketball as they lost on the road to the Knights of Holy Cross San Antonio by 6 points to 46.
From the first quarter, the San Antonio squad went ahead by 19 to 10, to then register 10 more units like their rivals in the second inning and thus reach the break with a 29-10 advantage.
In the remaining two quarters, Knights made 17-13 (for 46-33) and close with 1-13 (for the final 61-46) which gave them the victory over the Mavericks.
With the result, the Eagle Pass team led by Paulo Valero went 6-7 in wins and losses to take second place in District 28-5A, while the Knights of Holy Cross San Antonio were they went from 1-1 to rank first in District 3-4A.
