The Colombian forward scored the second goal in his team’s 2-0 victory over Benfica.

This Wednesday, Porto was proclaimed winner of the Portuguese Super Cup after beating Benfica 2-0, in a match played in the city of Aveiro and with a goal from Colombian Luis Díaz at the end of the match.

The team led by Sérgio Conceição took the lead in the 25th minute with a penalty that was carried out by Portuguese international midfielder Sérgio Oliveira.

Already at the end, in the epilogue, Diaz appeared, after a pass from the Mexican Tecatito Corona, and sent her to the back of the net after overflowing the left wing and defining crossed.

The meeting was not too showy, with little touch of the ball and too much fight in the medullary zone.

Sérgio Conceiçao played from the beginning with Pepe, Corona and Otávio, who had just been injured, while Jorge Jesús bet from the beginning in the offensive part for the Uruguayan Darwin Núñez and the German international Luca Waldschmidt.

This is the first trophy of the season, which will end up in the showcases of Porto, a squad that last season won the League and the Portuguese Cup, beating, as on this occasion, Benfica in the Portuguese football classic.
