Louis Camilleri, CEO of Scuderia Ferrari, resigns for personal reasons

It is definitely a year to forget for Scuderia Ferrari. As the Italian team prepares to complete one of the worst F1 seasons in its history, Louis Camilleri, its CEO, resigned Thursday according to Italian media reports. “It’s an unforeseen and totally unexpected decision“, writes in particular the edition of The Gazzetta dello Sport this Friday.

Appointed in July 2018, Camilleri therefore leaves the Scuderia after two years. “The Ferrari is part of my life, and serving it as CEO has been a privilege, he wrote in a letter to employees (…) I am happy with the many results achieved by the brand since 2018 and know that the best years are yet to come. “John Elkann, the president of Ferrari, will take over the interim.

“Grosjean was on Ferrari’s radar and a victory could have changed everything for him”
