Laurent Blanc will coach a Qatar club

He had been rejected in Lyon where the leaders preferred Rudi Garcia to him after an interview, mentioned in Barcelona and in many other European clubs (Inter Milan, Roma, Valence, Zenith Saint-Petersburg) or even Toronto in Canada. After four years without training since his departure from PSG in 2016, Laurent Blanc will however find a bench in the coming days. According to information from RMC Sport, the former coach of the France team should engage with the club of Al Rayyan in Qatar. In recent days, Blanc had been approached by Waldemar Kita to replace Christian Gourcuff at FC Nantes. But he had declined this offer. A few weeks ago, the one who had received compensation of 22 million euros after his dismissal from PSG, was even pessimistic about the possibility of finding a new club, evoking the possibility of turning to training of young people.

But it is therefore with the current 6th in the Qatari championship that he will bounce back… Laurent Blanc would already be there. In this new adventure, he will be accompanied by Franck Passi, former coach of OM, Lille and who managed Niort (L2) during the second part of last season.
