Kepa to start in Chelsea’s goal against Krasnodar in Champions League

“Kepa will begin”, Chelsea coach Frank Lampard announced on Monday. The Spanish goalkeeper, bought 80 million euros from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, has become the understudy of Édouard Mendy since the arrival of the former Rennais in London. “Kepa trains brilliantly and has an irreproachable behavior”, continued Lampard, on the eve of the reception of FC Krasnodar on Tuesday (9 p.m.).

Hamstring injury, Hakim Ziyech will be absent. “He will have a CT scan this afternoon, so I will have more information on his injury later”, said the coach of the Blues, who will also be without Callum Hudson-Odoi (hamstrings).

The Londoners, leaders of Group E, have already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
