James Wiseman reveals his favorite game from Warriors’ first training session

James Wiseman took part in Warriors training for the first time on Monday.

What was his best moment out there?

Before Wiseman spoke to the media, Steve Kerr described a few pieces by Wiseman that impressed him.

“He’s made several great screens. He seems like a very natural screen setter,” said the Warriors coach. “A couple of screens and dives to the edge where he opened wide open shooters on the weak side.

“He did it twice in a row while we were drilling.”

Any particular mistake that the beginner noticed?

“I missed a call about a defense plan, but came back,” said Wiseman. “I had tremendous energy so it didn’t even seem like I made a mistake.

“I’m just trying to use my length and my athleticism.”

Finally, here is a video of Draymond Green throwing Wiseman a lob.

Wiseman won’t be playing in the Warriors preseason game against the Kings on Tuesday night, but Kerr left the door open for the 7-foot-1 center to play in Sacramento on Thursday night.
